Jason and I are longtime friends from growing up in Montrose Colorado. To be asked to capture his wedding was a great honor. I feel a greater sense of duty shooting images that he and Charity will love for years to come rather than being a groomsman. They had a smallish, shortish, wedding with close friends and family at The Bridges Golf Course. They had a first look, ceremony, cake cutting, and their dances followed by bigger party at their house in Montrose; ending the night playing some good ol’ beer pong and playing with their crazy dog Ruger. You can’t really ask for a better backdrop than those amazing San Juan Mountains. Wooooo. I love this valley. I really liked The Bridges and hope to shoot again there soon. They had lots of great spots and amazing views of the mountains. Also certainly helps to have a truly awesome sunset as well that isn’t blocked by the mountains which is pretty typical of mountain weddings on the Denver side of the Dallas Divide.
