Mount Vernon Country Club Wedding in Golden, CO | Ashley + Garret

This is Colorado and we have some wacky weather here most of the time. The day started out very clear and not too hot. It began to gradually mutate throughout the day ending with this amazing and weird fog. My team and I were done for the night but as we walked to the car it was surrounded with fog and I just had to get the couple for some last minute portraits. I am so glad that I did. Highlight of the year! Ashely and Garret held their reception at The Mount Vernon Country Club near Golden. I have shot here several times now and every time it’s a fun challenge to come back and not shoot it as I have before. A first for me was capturing the ceremony was at the Rockland Community Church which is just a bit further up the hill from Mount Vernon Country Club. I really have to hand it to Ashley and Garret for going with some of my goofy ideas and trusting in me. I sincerely appreciate and love my job.
